School Leavers’ Guide for year 12 students

Federal Member for Wide Bay and Deputy Prime Minister, Warren Truss, has released a School Leavers’ Guide for year 12 students.
“The School Leavers’ Guide contains useful information for year 12 students to help them prepare for life after school,” Mr Truss said.
“As year 12 students approach the end of the year they are faced with many choices and have many decisions to make about the future.
“The guide for school leavers provides a summary of the range of options which students may consider and the services that are available to them, to help inform those decisions.
“The guide covers topics including career development, further education and training, as well as information on financial assistance.”
The guide will be distributed to secondary schools in the Wide Bay electorate. It is also available by telephoning my office on 1300 301 968.
